The purpose of the Hall of Fame is to recognize alumni and other individuals associated with the Lawton Community Schools for their achievements and contributions to the District and to society. Lawton Community Schools is pleased to announce the 2017 Hall of Fame class. The LCS Hall of Fame celebrates our history by recognizing individuals or groups who have made significant contributions to our schools or have demonstrated outstanding achievement in athletics, academics, career or community work. This year’s inductees are:

  • John and Zella Reid – Lawton alums and longtime supporters of Lawton Schools programs and active community members.
  • Robert and Marjorie Howard – long-time residents and dedicated school employees and active community members.
  • James Hunt – Lawton alum.
  • 1990 Wrestling team - won Class D State Championship.

All inductees and / or their family representatives will be inducted on Friday, February 10. A reception will be held at Lawton High School cafeteria at 7:00 p.m. followed by the induction ceremony between the girls' and boys' basketball games.

The entire community is encouraged to attend these events and honor these outstanding Blue Devils.
