The 11th annual Cinderella Project of Kalamazoo will be underway on Saturday, February 18 from 9:00 a.m. until Noon. The Cinderella Project gives free prom dresses and accessories to young women to allow them to be able to attend their high school prom. Every young woman should be able to enjoy the excitement of prom without worrying about the financial burden associated with attending such events. No appointment necessary. Participants must be currently enrolled in high school to qualify and must attend in person to shop. You can find more information on Facebook at www.facebook.com/cinderellaprojectkzoo. The Knights of Columbus will be holding their annual free throw competition at the Paw Paw High School gym for boys and girls 9-14 yrs. old on Sunday January 29th.
- Registration is 1:00-2:00 contest at 2:00.
- There will also be a 3 point contest for boys and girls 8th grade-12th grade at 3:00 the same afternoon. Come see if you are the area’s best 3 point shooter.
- PARENT OR GAURDIAN’S SIGNATURE IS REQUIRED ON THE REGISTRATION.

Auditions for the upcoming Drama Club performance of “Larceny and Old Lace” will be held Monday, Jan. 23 from 4:00-6:00 and Tuesday, Jan. 24 from 3:00-5:00 in the Owen Bray. Audition sign-up times and scripts will be available beginning Thursday outside of Mrs. Maury’s room.
Follow Your Dream Scholarship information is now available in the Guidance Office. Due date by 3:00 pm on Tuesday, January 24, 2017.
There will be a National Art Honor Society meeting on Wednesday the 25th of January in the art room during achievement.
The Kalamazoo Community Foundations offers scholarships to Van Buren county students and/or students who attend a Van Buren High School. Come into the Guidance Office to obtain information on the Gail and Hilda Oster Scholarship, Danial and Joeanna Smith Educational Scholarship and the Welch’s/National Grape Cooperative Scholarship.
Powerlifters planning to go to the meet at Ionia High School this Saturday (January 28th) need to see Coach Nycum for the registration form and plan to be in the weight room Wednesday, January 25th after school for weigh-ins, declaring opening lifts, and meet related information.
