March 25, 2024

Lunch:  Boneless BBQ Chicken Wings w/ breadstick, fries, green beans, pineapple & orange wedges, salad bar, & milk.

Breakfast (3/26):  Sausage / Egg / Cheese Bagel, fruit, fruit juice, milk.

THIS week we're Springing into Spring week with a little extra fun! Including dress up days and a Dodgeball tournament to finish off the shortened week! The dodgeball tournament will be by grade levels...girls vs girls and boys vs boys. Class representatives from each grade have dodgeball sheets that need to be filled and returned to Mrs. Wardell, by this Friday, March 22nd.  Remaining dress up days are as follows:

  • Tuesday- Tie-dye
  • Wednesday- Hawaiian Day
  • Thursday- Party in the USA wear red, white and blue

Juniors who are interested in dual enrolling at KVCC next year, please stop into the guidance office for some information on how to get the process started.

Attention all 10th & 11th graders planning to attend the Van Buren Tech Center next year- you must turn in your Student Information form with parent permission by THIS Thursday. When it is complete, turn in to the Counseling Office.

  • If you plan to join the Law Enforcement program, Cosmetology program, or Early Childhood/Cadet Teaching program you have an additional form to fill out. If you didn't get one from Mrs.Karsen, please stop by the Counseling Office for one. You will not get into those programs without completing the application.

Prom is April 13th. Tickets are on sale now. Prices are $35 for singles, or $60 for a couple. See Mrs. Steinke in the office to purchase your tickets and get your permission form for After Prom at Airway Lanes.

The After Prom Bash will be held at Airway Lanes and will include unlimited inside activities, AND ALL of the outdoor fun, as long as the weather permits.  Don't miss out on the go-karts, ropes course, mini golf, climbing wall, food, and prizes! The committee has worked incredibly hard to put on this event for the prom attendees, and everyone who goes to Prom is encouraged to attend.  Stop by Mrs. Steinke's office for permission slip.

The deadline to order your yearbook is THIS Thursday.  There will not be extra copies on hand to purchase after they are delivered, so make sure to get your order placed in time.  They are $25 each and must be purchased here with this link.

SPORTS:

Spring athletes - your team pictures are TODAY right after school.  Please remember your uniform.  Seniors athletes, please be ready by 3pm for your group picture.

Esports kids have a meeting today in Sr. Dewey's room after announcements.
