!! Attention Community Members !! We are seeking volunteers for our LMS Career Day 💼 We are seeking members of our community and surrounding area to spend the day sharing a little about their careers in a fun and engaging way for our middle school students. Students will visit classroom stations in small groups with their homeroom teachers every 20 minutes to experience what it is like to have a career in a variety of fields. We love to have presenters from diverse fields who have a way to let the students engage and interact with the information. Volunteer presenters are asked to come with a short activity to share with the students about their world of work. We hope all of our middle school students will gain exposure to careers they may not have known about or considered before and diversify the future of Lawton’s workforce. If you or someone from your business would like to volunteer to join us as a guest presenter please let me know so I can discuss your activity and necessary prep steps for the big day.
