
Congrats to the Lawton Robotics Team finishing 15th overall out of a 40 team competition at St. Joseph Public Schools.
They were selected to be a part of a 3 team alliance for the finals and finished 1st!
The team and the robot performed great!

The Lawton Education Foundation is happy to share the annual Follow Your Dream Scholarship. The applications are available for students to pick up in the Middle and High School offices, and have been sent home with 1-4th grade students.
The Lawton Education Foundation is also excited to offer an additional one time award, in honor of long time Lawton resident and LCS employee, Marilyn Hazelton. Marilyn was a talented quilter and sewer, and the winner of this award will go to a student who also has an interest in fiber arts.
All scholarship applications are due on February 21st.

Tomorrow, Friday, January 17, 2025 is a half day . The high school and the LAAC will dismiss at 11:20, the middle school will dismiss at 11:25, and the elementary school will dismiss at 11:30. The Tech Center will be open and the AM Tech Center bus will run as usual.

Lawton Community Schools honors the life and work of Mr. Charlie Maxwell: Lawton High School Class of 1944 and Major League Baseball Player: 1950-1964. Are you interested in a yearbook for a former Lawton Blue Devil? Quantities vary and they are $10 each, cash only. Pick up at the high school during the school day, or at the varsity basketball games on Friday, Dec. 20th. Available years: 2005-07, 2010-2021, and 2023.
Due to an overabundance, the years 2015 and 2020 will be sold for only $5 each!

A reminder to our families that this week we have full days of school on Monday and Tuesday. School is closed Wednesday through Friday and resumes on Monday, December 2nd. We wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving!


In partnership with St. Paul's Church in Lawton, high school achievement classes will be participating in a Holiday Food Drive Competition. All donations will stay right here in our local community. Please send in any donations with your student, or drop off at the high school office. Collection dates are December 2nd-6th.
