Lawton Hall of Fame

The 2024 Hall of Fame Inductees:

Tom Stermer | Ray Reid | Chris Rice

The purpose of the Hall of Fame is to recognize alumni and other individuals associated with the Lawton Community Schools for their achievements and contributions to the District and to society.

The Hall of Fame Committee has selected 3 members for the Hall of Fame Class of 2023 - 24, each that have made amazing contributions to our district and community.

We recently took the opportunity to inform our nominees and their families in person and it was an extremely memorable experience that was filled with Lawton pride at every stop.

  • Tom Stermer – Lawton graduate, board member, PA announcer, volunteer, Lawton advocate

  • Ray Reid – Lawton graduate, Army veteran, Lawton historian & supporter

  • Chris Rice – Lawton teacher, coach, elementary principal, superintendent

All inductees and / or their family representatives will be inducted on a winter date to be determined yet. A reception at 7:15 p.m. will be held in Lawton High School's cafeteria followed by the induction ceremony between the girls' and boys' basketball games.

The entire community is encouraged to attend these events and honor these outstanding Blue Devils.

Thank you to the Hall of Fame committee for your work on this important project!

Congratulations to these outstanding Blue Devils and their families!
